I'm FINALLY back home, 10 weeks of nonstop international action with pickleball tournaments, clinics, sightseeing, surfing, you name it!
I must say, going on that adventure opened my eyes to what the world is really like. I'm very grateful to be doing what I'm doing and being able to share it with you.
I have one of the biggest (my personal favorite) tournaments coming up in just 10 days, the US OPEN.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I am also using a BRAND new paddle, the CRBN Barrage.
You're probably thinking, How will I adjust to the paddle and be ready for the tournament on such short notice? 😅
I HAVE NO IDEA
Just kidding.
I've been home for 2 days already, and I've done 3 sessions each day. I'm only wanting to knock the rust off and get as many touches on the ball with the new paddle as possible. I've been doing 90-minute-long sessions JUST focusing on the basics.
I'm doing 15 minutes of dinking, 15 minutes of resets, drops, attacks, etc.
Within 2 more days, I expect to feel like I never left, and that I've been using the paddle for years!
