👋 Hey!

One of the biggest tournaments of the year is less than 2 weeks away, and I haven't done "serious" pickleball training in the last 2 months.

I've been traveling throughout Asia, spreading my pickleball knowledge through clinics, exhibitions, meet-and-greets, etc.

It has been such a blast, but I need to practice. I will have exactly 8 days to prepare for the US Open. Here's exactly what I'm going to do.

For the first 3 days (at least), I will not play one single game. I will do 2 sessions per day, each lasting 90 minutes.

I'll do only something I like to call "routine drilling."

What this means is I am going for the quantity of balls hit. I want to get as many reps as possible simply hitting all types of shots, dinks, drops, resets, and fast hands. I won't "keep score" with any of the drills; I will set a timer for 15 minutes per shot and just keep rotating around until 90 minutes are up.

This gets you back into the swing of things EXTREMELY fast.
