3 Things I Would Focus on to Go From a 4.0 to a 4.5 FAST ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’จ

Your EXCLUSIVE week 16 video is here!

Welcome to The Secrets to 5.0 Newsletter

Hey Everyone!

Hereโ€™s an interesting statistic that will make you rethink your game:

75% of rallies at the 4.0 level end before five balls have been hit.

The serve and return are two shots. Which means the point is practically over before it even starts!

Knowing this, you can capitalize by not going for too much too early in the point! Be patient and let your opponents make the mistakes.

Now, letโ€™s get to your Week 16 video!

3 Things I Would Focus on to Go From a 4.0 to a 4.5 FAST ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’จ

The jump from 4.0 to 4.5 is one of the hardest for every player. Focus on these 3 things to save yourself a lot of TIME โฐ and FRUSTRATION ๐Ÿ˜ฉ:

  1. Emphasize counterattacks at the kitchen line ๐Ÿ”ช

  2. Hit 3rd shot, reset in transition, get to the kitchen ๐Ÿ™

  3. Focus on consistency ๐Ÿ‘ˆ, NOT spin ๐Ÿ™…

What Iโ€™m Working On Right Now

Iโ€™m telling you now: the offensive lob is a GAME changer

So many players lean so far into the kitchen to look to attack balls or control the point by taking dinks out of the air.

If you can successfully throw in an offensive lob early in a match, your opponents will play differently at the kitchen line the rest of the game.

They know youโ€™re a lob threat, so they cannot lean in as much, allowing you to hit more aggressive dinks!

I have been dialing this in and plan on breaking it out in my next tournamentโ€”assuming I don't get too nervous. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜

Till next week,

Tanner
