This shot is MAGIC. 🪄 🌟
After 3 years of playing pickleball professionally, I JUST discovered this shot (literally yesterday), and it has been a COMPLETE game-changer, making it difficult for opponents to reach the kitchen line.
My friends have been doing it for a while, and just pointed out to me how and when to execute this shot.
It is for applying pressure on balls out of the air, specifically when the opponent is hitting a third shot drop.
How many times are you in this situation:
The opponent hits a third shot drop that is a bit low. You can't hit it too hard, since it's below the net's height, so you tap it back, and they get to the kitchen line easily.
This shot allows you to hit hard, pressure balls back that are well below the net!
