If you constantly get jammed every time your opponent speeds the ball up…

The problem isn’t your hand speed.

It’s that you’re tracking the ball incorrectly.

Most players sit HEAVY on their backhand as the ball comes at them. By the time they react, they’re already jammed.

Instead, imagine your paddle tip has a laser pointer attached to it.

Your job is to keep that laser pointed directly at the ball the entire time.

As the ball moves, your paddle moves with it.

If it comes to your forehand, you’re ready.

If it comes to your backhand, you’re ready.

This is something almost every pro does, but it’s so subtle that most players never notice it. They think pros have genetically fast hands, when in reality they’re simply tracking the ball correctly and rarely let themselves get in trouble.
