Welcome to The Secrets to 5.0 Newsletter

Hey Team!

I had a great showing at the APP in Dallas this past week. I qualified for my first-ever APP PRO mixed doubles, and we made it to the quarterfinals!

I’m already gearing up to head to Southern California for the APP Newport Beach Open next week! 💪

There’s something else, potentially REALLY exciting going on too, that I wanted to get YOUR input on…

If you have 60 seconds (🤭) would you please fill out this survey? I think you might be really interested… (the title gives it away 👇)

Now, let’s get to your exclusive video!

All 3.5 Level Players Make THIS Mistake When Dinking ❌😅

Spin is all the rage right now in pickleball—it seems everyone is talking about it. But what all 3.5s (and plenty of 4.5s) do is use their wrist to generate that spin.

This is wrong. ❌ 🙅👎

Here’s what to do insteadIn Under 60 Seconds.

What I’m Working On Right Now

Making it to the mixed doubles quarterfinals taught me a TON.

I went into the day without any expectations and played like I had nothing to lose. My partner and I were a first-time partnership, so I wasn’t expecting much. 🤷

This unlocked a new ME and allowed me to play completely free without any thoughts going through my head. Usually, however, I play like I have to win or my life will end. 🙈

This leads to me being nervous, second-guessing, and making errors.

Instead, I played flawlessly in mixed doubles because my mind was clear.

I was in my flow state. 🧘

This is a great lesson for all of us: to play to win, sometimes we just need to play like there’s nothing to lose! 🤪

Till next week! ✌️
