Drive + Drop Combo 🍔🍟
Your EXCLUSIVE week 37 video is here!

👋
Getting to the kitchen line in pickleball these days isn’t easy—players are faster, hands are quicker, and every shot feels like a battle.
Want a simple strategy that pros (especially Ben Johns) are using to break through? Try the Drive + Drop combo.
Next time you watch Ben in men’s doubles, pay attention to how often he drives the 3rd shot, then drops the 5th. You’ll notice it happens way more often than a straight-up 3rd shot drop.
If you’re ready to learn how–check out this week's video:

We already talked about how Ben Johns is hitting more third-shot drives than drops, but have you noticed what he’s doing in the dink game?
For years, he was all about the slice dink—but now? He’s mixing in a two-handed backhand roll dink about 35% of the time. That’s a clear sign the game is evolving.
If you’re not adding this shot to your game, you’re falling behind (at least at the pro level). This isn’t just a flashy move—it’s a must-have weapon that helps you control the dink rally. The first player to roll dinks aggressively? They usually force a weak dink, and then it's attack mode.
So why are pros like Ben doing this now and not last year?
Easy.
🏓 Paddle Technology.
A year ago, you couldn’t hit a two-handed topspin dink aggressively enough to keep it in play. It would float too high or sail out. But with today’s paddles? You can generate MASSIVE spin and keep your dinks low and nasty.
Start developing this shot now if you want to stay ahead of the curve.
And if you need a paddle that will help you evolve your game, check out my paddle, the CRBN TruFoam Genesis.
😊
Till next week!
