How to Hit a Perfect Return of Serve

Your EXCLUSIVE week 31 video is here!

Welcome to The Secrets to 5.0 Newsletter

Hey Team!

The "off-season" for pickleball is officially over!

(Even though it was only like one month 🤣).

This week, I'm competing in Fort Lauderdale for the first APP of the year.

I'm playing alongside Kyle “ThatPickleballGuy” Koszuta!

I feel like my game is the BEST it has ever been. I'm really looking forward to doing some damage!

This tournament is special because my parents are flying in from New Jersey to watch. They haven't seen me play a "legit" tournament in over 2 years!

I’m also excited to check out The Fort – The APP’s new facility!

This is what The Fort is supposed to look like when it’s completely finished!

If you’re around, say “Hi!”

Now, let’s get to your exclusive video.

How to Hit a Perfect Return of Serve

Most players treat the return of serve like it’s a regular groundstroke.

This is wrong! ❌

Find out how to hit the perfect return of serve in Under 60 Seconds.

A Day in My Life

Last week, I shared a video of what my typical day is. If you want to see what it’s like to live with other pickleball pros, this video is for YOU.

What I’m Working On Right Now

I've implemented something this past week that has given me UNREAL results in my practice matches.

That's hitting two-handed topspin dinks with my backhand whenever the ball is wide in the court.

Doing this puts me in control and allows me to dictate the point.

When I used to slice the backhand, it almost allowed my opponent to be the aggressor first.

I'm excited to continue using this, especially in the tournament.

A bonus tip is it REALLY makes your speedups off the bounce deceptive because you're using two hands for many shots, and your opponents cannot tell when it's coming.
