3 Golden Rules to Dinking in Pickleball!

Your EXCLUSIVE week 39 video is here!

👋

This past week at the PPA Cape Coral Tournament, I played Ben Johns and Andrei Daescu in the second round of men’s doubles!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.

We lost 4-11, 10-12. However, we were leading 9-7-1, and they called a timeout. We proceeded to miss four third-shot drops in a row.

We had the opportunity to take a game off the best in the world.

Unfortunately, we came up just short.

Be on the lookout for my match breakdown/analysis video, which is dropping SOON!

Now, let’s get to this week's video:

3 Golden Rules to Dinking in Pickleball!

While there isn’t nearly as much dinking in today’s game as there was 2-3 years ago, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t practice it.

In fact, because there is less of it, if you’re the one putting in the work to get better, than you’ll have a MASSIVE edge over your opponents when it does happen.

Here’s how to become a dominant dinker in 2025–in Under 60 Seconds.

I learned quite a few things from this match.

Ultimately, it’s made me MUCH more confident about my game, knowing I can hang with the best.

The main differentiator in this match was handling pressure late in the game, which comes from high-intensity reps.

Ben and Andrei weren’t phased by the moment, while Richard (Livornese) and I were.

I have more actual ‘skill specific’ takeaways talked about in my soon to be released YouTube breaking the match down.

It’s fulfilling to know that my skill level is there; it’s just a matter of time before I pull off an upset!

And when I break through those barriers, I’m going to share EVERYTHING with you so you can do it, too!

Till next week!
