The Most Useful Pickleball Video You’ll Watch Today
Your EXCLUSIVE week 68 video is here!

👋
Hey Everyone!
I had the opportunity to get into rec games with Christian Alshon, Andrei Daescu, and Eric Oncins today!
(First off, what an honor and an elite crew to be a part of!!!)
Andrei Daescu did something in the warmups that immediately caught my attention that I'm CERTAINLY going to steal, and you should too!
We were doing the normal warmup: dinking, drops, resets, fast hands, etc.
However, during the "reset" portion, it got interesting.
I noticed, as I was hitting balls at Andrei and he was resetting them, if I hit a shot that was going out, he would NOT hit it.
This caught my attention big time because it's the WARM-UPS. For me, I usually hit every ball, no matter if it is going in or out.
Andrei is known for his elite "dodging out balls" in matches, and now I see why. The guy doesn't even hit out balls in the warm-up! 🤣
This makes total sense, train your brain to ALWAYS be looking for out balls. It doesn't work by magically "turning it on" once the actual game begins.
I'm convinced this is the only true way to actually get better at dodging these balls.
This impacted me big time.
I'm excited to see how this will develop my game, as I have vowed to myself NEVER to hit an out ball on purpose again, no matter if it is a warm-up or a demonstration for a video. I'm going all in on that!
Now, let’s get to this week's video:

There is one mistake I see REPEATEDLY. Find out if you’re making it. . . in Under 60 Seconds.

This past week, I have been working on developing offense from the transition zone (mid-court).
The drill that I have been doing is one of my favorites, and I just added it to my routine.
Here’s how it works:
I'm in the middle of the court in a "reset' position, my partner is in front of me at the kitchen line, hitting balls at me. He is working on keeping the ball in and applying pressure.
I am working on training my brain to reset the ball, but read my opponent’s shot. If his shot is thigh-high or higher, I attack it. I did this for 30 minutes today, and I feel like I just leveled up!
Give it a try yourself and let me know how it goes!
